Admission Requirements
All existing UC policies regarding admission, attendance, assessment and qualifying for graduation, together with the Student Code of Conduct and other relevant policies, apply for all Associate’s and Bachelor’s students. Thus, as is standard UC policy on Admission and Registration, students who are admitted directly to a program must pass the Entrance Exam for admission to an undergraduate program.
1. To be admitted to an AA Program, potential students will first be required to have adequate language proficiency for chosen language major, based on passing a standard test. UC can accept students who meet one of the following criteria:
- Have completed national general education, grade 12 (for AA)
- Pass UC placement test (in a chosen language major)
- Have a certificate of completion in Level Six (in a chosen language major )
- Have a certificate of TEVET
- Have a certificate of Foundation Year Program (credit-transferred students)
- Other equivalent certificates
2. To be admitted to a BA Program, potential students will first be required to have adequate language proficiency for chosen language major, based on passing a standard test. UC can accept students who meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a certificate of completion in Level Six (in a chosen language major )
- Have IELTS 5.5 ( For English major)
- TOEFL 550 ( For English major)
- Have a certificate of high school
- Have a certificate of Level 3 of TEVET
- Have a certificate of Foundation Year Program (credit-transferred students)
- Other equivalent certificates
